Announcement    Metal mesh reclaimed from vintage purses, hand-linked with sterling silver chain to create contemporary, wearable pieces of jewelry. Fragments of a bygone era, the resulting works are rich with history yet decidedly modern.

Many pieces are one-of-a-kind or very small runs due to the limited availability of appropriate vintage materials. We constantly search antique dealers, estate sales, and flea markets for damaged, chipped, and tarnished mesh purses.

All mesh is exclusively Whiting & Davis from machines dating to the early/mid 1900s, the selection ranging from antique, heavily worn patinas—through vintage, slightly softened surfaces—to newer, brightly plated finishes. 1890s-1980s.

Everything in this shop is designed by Maral Rapp and handmade in San Francisco and Oakland, California.

DOMESTIC US:
Domestic shipments are sent via USPS Priority Mail, with tracking and insurance, typically arriving within 2-4 business days. On rare occasion packages may take up to 1-2 weeks.

INTERNATIONAL:
International shipments are sent via USPS First Class International or Priority International, usually arrive within two weeks - but may take longer, depending on individual import customs. Please allow up to three weeks.
